ABOUT ANDREA SHANDRI

Most know me as their favorite real estate and commercial photographer, but when I'm not busy with the day to day, I thrive on planning my next voyage and photography projects, obsessing over every detail and then trying to find the joy through suffering that inevitably comes with low maintenance trips and traveling with three kids.
With years of experience in photography & small business ownership, I've developed a reputation for excellence in my craft, professionally and personally. My work has received awards, notably many ribbons at the notorious Photo Salon of the Iowa State Fair and I've been featured in different publications around the state.
I've been a commercial photographer for over 10 years and currently and forever a full-time commercial and real estate photographer with Jake Boyd Photo, out of the Des Moines area. You'll also see me flying around as Urbandale's drone operator for city events. I love raising my three daughters with husband in the heart of the metro, and excel at drinking espresso, going out to eat, and keeping in touch with multiple Marco Polo conversations.
